I don’t get it wouldn’t the condoms already be doing that by preventing direct contact with bodily fluids?
This doesn’t make no sense.
CONDOMS CAN BREAK. It’s like spermicide condoms that kill sperm. Yes, the condom serves as a physical barrier, but it’s extra protection against pregnancy (and, in this case, HIV) should the condom break.
Also many STIs can be spread even with condoms. HSV viral shed can happen anywhere on the genital area and there’s literally no way to determine when viral shed is occurring, even though it’s only a very small percentage of time.
In light of all of the AIDs researchers dying in the Malaysian plane crash, it brightens my spirits to see this and to see the recent research out of Temple University.
