I’ve been meaning to make work-related comics forever, so enjoy some choice movie title bastardizations.
(these all actually, seriously, happened, with no humor or awareness on the part of the customer at the time as far as I could tell. so, yes, someone actually asked for a ticket to “Detergent” with a straight face.)
These condoms include Vivagel, a new antiviral compound that disables 99.9% of HIV, herpes, and other sexually transmitted viruses:http://bit.ly/1ne3B9V
from Science Alert
I don’t get it wouldn’t the condoms already be doing that by preventing direct contact with bodily fluids?
This doesn’t make no sense.
CONDOMS CAN BREAK. It’s like spermicide condoms that kill sperm. Yes, the condom serves as a physical barrier, but it’s extra protection against pregnancy (and, in this case, HIV) should the condom break.
Also many STIs can be spread even with condoms. HSV viral shed can happen anywhere on the genital area and there’s literally no way to determine when viral shed is occurring, even though it’s only a very small percentage of time.
In light of all of the AIDs researchers dying in the Malaysian plane crash, it brightens my spirits to see this and to see the recent research out of Temple University.
Andres Amador is an artist who uses the beach as his canvas, racing against the tide to create these large scale temporary masterpieces using a rake or stick ..
Andres’ creations are simply stunning and knowing that these delicate creations are temporary somehow makes them even more beautiful.
How is this kid only 3? I call shenanigans.
Video of his dancing performance (watch the whole thing)
Idunno who made this but I had this saved on my computer and basically, by looking at your hands you can tell what tribe you would be in if you would live in the bending world. Pretty sweet right? Personally I would be an airbender, I would just ride around on an air ball all day aww yish
this is actually a major thing in palmistry!!!
- Earth hands are generally identified by broad, square palms and fingers, thick or coarse skin, and ruddy color. The length of the palm from wrist to the bottom of the fingers is usually equal to the length of the fingers.
- Air hands exhibit square or rectangular palms with long fingers and sometimes protruding knuckles, low-set thumbs, and often dry skin. The length of the palm from wrist to the bottom of the fingers is usually equal to the length of the fingers.
- Water hands are seeable by the short, sometimes oval-shaped palm, with long, flexible, conical fingers. The length of the palm from wrist to the bottom of the fingers is usually less than the width across the widest part of the palm, and usually equal to the length of the fingers.
- Fire hands are characterized by a square or rectangular palm, flushed or pink skin, and shorter fingers. The length of the palm from wrist to the bottom of the fingers is usually greater than the length of the fingers.
Fire hand. Nailed it.
It’s pretty funny that I’m fire hand, because the martial art I’m trained in is closest to the fire nation’s techniques.
